We are so excited to share this exciting project that weaves together creativity, teamwork, and a sprinkle of magic. Recently, the stage lit up as the phenomenal Camila Cabello took her tour on the road, and guess what? We had the absolute privilege of being included in the creative process.
Camila took the stage with her powerhouse vocals, alongside her fabulous squad of six dancers, each styled by Ann-Marie who is a dear friend of VidaKush owner. Allowing our jewelry to be a part of each of the dancers unique vibes and styles, amplifying the dancers’ stunning choreography.
Camila names that tour 'CXOXO' and we also made her, her very own Custom Word Alphabet Cereal Necklace with a C and XOXO to match her tour name. She rocked it on her TikTok HERE and posted these fire pictures to her instagram.
But wait, it gets even better! For the mesmerizing performance of “Dream Girls,” we were given a creative challenge we have never participated in before. We have tackled projects all the way from tour merch, chain veils, custom Met looks to Indian wedding accessories, but never have we tapped into the world of a ballerina. This time, our task was to transform the dancers’ pointe shoes into one-of-a-kind pieces of art making the classic ballerina into an edgy, dream girl icon. We took your traditional pink pointe shoes and gave them a VidaKush makeover, bringing an avant-garde twist that resonated perfectly with the song’s dance theme.
Our talented team gathered studs, piercings, and fishnets to decorate the pink pointe shoes with vibrant blue metallic paint. Each shoe was unique and had its own energy, just like the dancers themselves. The results were nothing short of breathtaking.
As we decorated those classic ballet shoes, it became a heartwarming reminder of why we love fashion, jewelry, and art so much. The self-expression, creativity, and storytelling that emerged through the designs bonded everyone in the office and created an atmosphere of gratitude. We all couldn’t wait to see them in action on stage!
