Creative energy, community vibes, new shoes and charm overload — VidaKush brought our signature Shoelery Bar experience to the outdoor courtyard of Ovation Hollywood at the latest Shoe Palace activation, and it was everything.
The setup: families, kids and parents gathered on the grass at the shopping and entertainment hub, ready to watch a showing of the classic The Goonies on the big screen under the open sky. While the movie lineup drew in the crowd, we brought something extra special — our custom shoes + charms bar.
At the VidaKush Shoelery Bar, each ticket-holder had the opportunity to enter a raffle, grab some popcorn, then head over to our station where kids sorted through our trays full of charms to decorate their own shoes. The kids got to take home their chosen charms in a mini treasure chest inspired by The Goonies theme of treasure hunts and buried gold. The kids came back for seconds hunting for more charms and begging for extra treasure...and so did their parents — the joy was contagious.
The location at Ovation Hollywood (formerly Hollywood & Highland) gave the event the perfect backdrop: open lawn, movie-screen projection, family friendly vibe, all on a beautiful day in LA.
This activation hit all the marks: creative engagement, brand experience, youth-friendly fun, custom accessories — and we were proud to supply all the charm pieces and memory for the kids. Huge thanks to Shoe Palace for having us again and making this event a memory for the kids (and parents) that will stick.
