When Netflix announced it would begin streaming live sports, they did it in the most iconic way possible: with a full-on halftime show performance by Beyoncé. And guess who got the call to be part of the magic? Yep—VidaKush.
Our longtime friend and powerhouse stylist Ann Marie, who’s made waves as a key stylist for some of the biggest names in entertainment, hit us up with the opportunity of a lifetime: to create custom jewelry and accessories for the 268 dancers performing alongside Queen Bey herself.
Let’s just say… we cleared our schedule.
The creative process was as bold as Beyoncé’s legacy. From rhinestone bandanas and crystal chokers to mesh bedazzled face coverings and Western-inspired bolo ties, the design ideas were flowing. After rounds of collaboration with Beyoncé’s team, we landed on the perfect finishing touch: sparkling rhinestone strips to accent the dancers’ sashes, creating a cascading shimmer that would light up the stage.
Our team handcrafted 260+ custom rhinestone adornments, ensuring each dancer’s look was polished and performance-ready. You can clearly spot the shimmer in the final performance video—proof that even the tiniest details can make the biggest impact.
Seeing our work shine in this kind of historic moment—especially with Beyoncé’s daughter joining her on stage—was beyond an honor. For an independent jewelry brand based in Los Angeles, this kind of collaboration means the world. It’s a reminder that hard work, creativity, and community connections go a long way.
