Tinashe Getting Creative with VidaKush Styles for her PopStar Era

Posted by Sam Reid on

From the Hamptons to the music video set, Tinashe has been keeping VidaKush in rotation. As she should.

Some jewelry gets invited to the party. Other jewelry ends up in a music video. Apparently, ours had a pretty busy summer doing both.

We've been keeping up with Tinashe's latest fashion moments, and we're especially excited to see a couple of our favorite VidaKush pieces making appearances during the invite-only Hamptons White party, and her new music video for "Crash Out" that stylist Anna Trevelyan collaborated on.

If you've been paying attention to pop music over the past decade, Tinashe is making waves. The singer, songwriter, dancer, and all-around performer has built a career doing exactly what she wants, from early hits like "2 On" to her viral 2024 single "Nasty." She's never been particularly interested in fitting into one category, which is probably why we like her so much.

Her eighth studio album, Popstar, arrived September 25, 2026, bringing together experimental pop, R&B, club music, and the kind of choreography that reminds everyone why she's one of the most exciting performers to watch.

And with new shows and a tour on the horizon, this next chapter is looking pretty exciting.

Every summer, billionaire entrepreneur Michael Rubin hosts his now-famous all-white party in the Hamptons, bringing together some of the biggest names in music, fashion, sports, and entertainment. The guest list is ridiculous, the dress code is famously strict, and the whole thing feels like a very expensive group project in wearing white.

Naturally, the jewelry matters.

This summer, Tinashe attended the iconic event wearing our Crystal Clear Hoop Earrings, styled by the incredible Anna Trevelyan.

Our Crystal Hoops are exactly the kind of accessory that belongs at this party. We didn't get an invitation, but technically our jewelry did.

Anna and her team came back to pull jewelry for a music video connected to Tinashe's Popstar era, and this time they gave one of our pieces an entirely new purpose.

Our Bubble Star Chain Belt was styled as an oversized pocket chain, draped across Tinashe's outfit rather than worn traditionally around the waist.

We've always believed that jewelry doesn't have to be worn the way it was originally intended, and this styling is exactly why.

A belt becomes a pocket chain. An accessory becomes part of the choreography. Suddenly, a piece we've designed is moving across the screen with Tinashe while she does what she does best.

For a brand that has been experimenting with body jewelry, pocket chains, and unconventional accessories since 2011, this is the kind of styling that makes us particularly happy.

We also love seeing jewelry incorporated into a music video because, unlike an event look that exists for one evening, the final video lives on. People can revisit it, discover the styling months or years later, and keep finding new details.

Somewhere in all that movement is a little piece of VidaKush history.

You can watch the full music video HERE!

Thanks so much to Anna Trevelyan for including us in this iconic looks. She's worked with some of the most influential names in music and fashion, and we're always excited when she reaches out to pull pieces for another creative project.

We're grateful for the continued relationship and for the trust she places in our designs.

And seeing VidaKush become a small part of that story, whether at a celebrity party or in a music video, is pretty special.

VidaKush started in Los Angeles in 2011, and over the years our jewelry has traveled from our little studio to red carpets, world tours, music videos, and some pretty unforgettable celebrity moments.

And we love seeing the same artist wearing our jewelry twice in one summer.
